J Is For Jamiroquai
*Originally released July 14th 2014*
Steve and Doug sit down to talk about London funk group Jamiroquai this episode! They also give some serious discussion about one hit wonders, dance films, and whether or not artists need a label. Also, apologies for the sound quality this episode - we were still working on a few technical glitches!
Music featured this week:
Canned Heat - Synkronized
Virtual Insanity - Travelling Without Moving
Emergency On Planet Earth - Emergency On Planet Earth
6:35 - Steve couldn\'t find the CBC article again (CBC Music\'s website is rubbish these days), but was able to find this HuffPost article about it.
8:03 - Check out our episode D Is For dep!
11:36 - Alas, not so much anymore. There\'s very little music played on MuchMusic. You kind of have to go to the offshoot stations for that kind of content now.
18:46 - Take a gander at the fairly shameless, but fairly successful, track by The Timelords, \"Doctorin The TARDIS\".
21:13 - The actress Doug found \"very attractive\" is One Tree Hill\'s Amanda Schull.
31:42 - Here\'s the article on Cracked, \"7 Things a Record Deal Teaches You About The Music Industry\" cowritten by Spose.
47:05 - Here\'s the music video for \"Street Spirit (Fade Out)\" by Radiohead, directed by Jonathan Glazer. And here\'s the video for \"Virtual Insanity\" that Glazer did.
1:05:15 - And in 2017, Jamiroquai released Automaton.

Seven Days In Sunny June - Dynamite
