P Is For Plants and Animals
*Originally released March 14th 2017*
This week, Steve and Doug tackle Montreal trio Plants and Animals. The guys also chat about the Junos and the Polaris Music Prize, and what Canadians value in music.
Music featured this week:
Control Me - The End Of That
Feedback In The Field - Parc Avenue
The Mama Papa - La La Land
9:56 - Ironically, Steve and Doug managed to acquire tickets from a friend who won them in a radio contest, and the two went and had a great time. You'll hear all about it in a future episode
53:48 - There's a time stamp reference: Steve's joke is referring to the 89th Academy Awards where Best Picture was announced as La La Land erroneously before being properly given to Moonlight
1:00:51 - Here's the music video for "Stay"
Steve's Recommendations:
Good Friend - Parc Avenue
Kon Tiki - La La Land
No Worries Gonna Find Us - Waltzed In From The Rumbling
