R Is For Radiohead
*Originally released April 5th 2017*
Steve and Doug rebound with the long awaited Radiohead episode, joined by guest cohost Daniel Ferguson. The guys chat about playing the long game, experimentation in music, and how much Daniel hates "Creep".
Music featured this week:
Idioteque - Kid A
Karma Police - OK Computer
Creep - Pablo Honey
00:39 - Here's the list of other episodes Daniel has appeared in: C Is For Caravan Palace, Our Five Favourite Albums, and F Is For Franz Ferdinand
28:28 - The video for "Just" is probably one of their more conventional videos, but still cool
33:39 - A fantastic example of using time lapse on video, Radiohead's "Street Spirit (Fade Out)"
49:45 - An example of a remix done right: "Climbing Up The Walls" and the Zero 7 remix
1:10:32 - You can read Doug's entry on "Like Spinning Plates" for his list of 100 Favourite Songs (it's #30)
1:25:47 - It says it's the official video, but it's one of the fan-made videos for The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth Of All Time. However, it is one of the best: "Where I End And You Begin"
1:46:20 - There's a few versions out there, but here's a good one: Thom Yorke Shoots Justin Bieber
1:47:15 - We're still waiting Daniel
