On this *remastered* second part of their U2 episode, Steve and Doug continue talking about the Irish rockers with guest cohosts Stuart Ferguson and Travis Mendgen.  The four chat about image changes, alienating fans, and how to structure an album (or not!).

0:45 - As stated last episode, you'll probably have noticed a bit of a drop in fidelity and an echo. To accommodate the two guest hosts, we recorded in a new, larger space and weren't as close to the mic as we should have been. It's not a big difference, but there you go.

1:48 - Take a gander at the video of U2's cover of "Night and Day"

2:15 - Okay but seriously "Sweet Fire Of Love" by Bono and Robbie Robertson is an absolutely amazing song and you guys should all listen to it

8:53 - You can listen to Jack White's cover of "Love Is Blindness" here, which was featured in "The Great Gatsby" soundtrack and the U2 tribute album "AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered"

21:07 - Here's the clip from "Bedazzled" where Peter Cook's Devil has formed a new psychedelic pop band called Drimble Wedge and the Vegetation, and openly mocks his audience. The audience, of course, loves it.

25:42 - We actually do manage to finally dive into Passengers with our special episode Follow-Up Fun and Concerts Too

28:26 - No joke, Stuart went to Point Grey Secondary in Vancouver, a fairly posh high school. Other alumni include Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Gil Bellows.

39:52 - "The Million Dollar Hotel" soundtrack is excellent

51:34 - While you watch this video for "City of Blinding Lights", it's worth mentioning that everybody except Steve went. Steve had just started a new job and was too chicken shit to ask for days off. Ironically, he had just started at a brand new theatre and if he had mentioned the shoot to his manager, she would have arranged for him to be at the theatre when U2 came to visit. Double fail for Steve.

Travis' Recommendations:
Like A Song - War
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me - Batman Forever [soundtrack]
Acrobat - Achtung Baby

Steve's Recommendations:
Until The End Of The World - Achtung Baby
Lemon - Zooropa
Spanish Eyes - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For [single]

Doug's Recommendations:
The Fly - Achtung Baby
Last Night On Earth - Pop
City of Blinding Lights - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb

Stuart's Recommendations:
The Electro Co. - Boy
Is That All? - October
Ultra Violet (Light My Way) - Achtung Baby
